Welcome to my book recommendations page! This isn't entirely related to my usual content, but I love reading so much that it has to be a part of this blog in some way.

Check back often, I'm always discovering new books!!

And definitely, 100%, race-to-the-send-button assuredly, without a doubt, I am always open to talking about books. Shoot me an email at katie@thelazysource.com, especially if you've read one of my favorites below!!

Where do I buy my books?

Just a quick note, since I like talking about money.

I buy books fairly often, and that price tag can really add up. I'm also weak, so if I'm aware that I'm within 2 miles of a Barnes & Noble, there's a 96.78% chance I'm going in. Once I pass the threshold, there's a 100% chance I'm buying something. Sadly, buying books at retail gets pricey.

While I'm always willing to support my beloved brick and mortar retailer and local independent booksellers, I'll only do that if I a) happen to be nearby or b) need a book today.

Otherwise, my very first stop is Book Outlet (affiliate link, but I've literally been shopping here for years)!

This website is superb; they have thousands of titles, up to 90% off! On my last order, I bought four books (including one hardcover!) for $21.96. They don't have everything, and I highly advise you know what titles you're interested in before going in (there are a lot of less than great titles in the mix), but when you find your book? Savings.

If it's not on Book Outlet, I shop Amazon. Big surprise, right?

My Book Outlet link up there is an affiliate link, but all of these Amazon links are not. They're just the books I love! I definitely recommend checking out Book Outlet first though - if they have the title, it's guaranteed to be cheaper than Amazon!

I read all sorts of genres, but I'm a sucker for some good YA Fantasy and Sci-Fi. If we have similar book tastes, I'm serious, hit me up. I need book friends.

Also, you can follow me on my sometimes-used but sometimes-neglected Goodreads account!
